Perfect autumnal day out with my two favourites today.

Today’s prompt was “expensive” - I decided on a food related drawing, saffron, a spice derived from the flower of the crocus, which is among the most expensive in the world. Delicious too!

Middle Eastern inspired Sunday dinner today. I’ve been creating this dish in my head all week, finally cooked it today. Harissa roasted butternut squash with preserved lemon, chilli and parsley, crushed roasted new potatoes with coriander and lemon oil, and a salad of green beans, radish, cucumber, watercress, toasted nuts and herbs, and out of shot was a tahini sauce.

Fun time pumpkin picking yesterday. I love this time of year so much!

Today’s prompt was “drain” - I wasn’t looking forward to this one, had no idea what to draw until last night when I was sat drinking a glass of red wine and thought of this!

Today’s prompt was “breakable” - I went for something a bit different for me today, all colour, no black ink at all.
